Hosted by The Beta Iota Boulé of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, Inc., in partnership with The Executive Leadership Council and McKinsey & Company, the Forum will convene Black corporate executives, philanthropists, scholars, and more to network, ideate and collaborate on efforts to advance Black economic development.
This year’s event will focus on the current state of Black-owned businesses in America, the imperative to further support Black-owned enterprises and the next generation of Black entrepreneurs, and the broader social and economic impact these efforts can have on our lives and livelihoods.
Black business owners have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic-linked economic downturn. At the same time, a surge in Black entrepreneurship and increased efforts to partner with, support and scale Black-owned businesses have accelerated, presenting an opportunity to create a more equitable playing field for Black business going forward.
During the Forum, participants will hear from industry leaders and experts on supplier diversity, market trends creating opportunities for Black-owned brands, and how investing in these businesses can drive broader economic inclusion and mobility.
